1.1 Setting Up
If you have installed Myron on an Android device,
you may have to adjust the soft keyboard to fit your screen.
Myron has several keyboards in various sizes and configurations to accommodate
screen sizes and resolutions ranging from a few hundred pixels to thousands of pixels across.
To pick the right one for your device, dismiss this help display and go back to the workspace by touching the
button at the top left of the screen twice. In the workspace,
- touch the input area at the bottom of the screen to bring up the keyboard;
- touch the
button at the top left of the screen to cycle through the available keyboard options;
- touch anywhere in the workspace display above the keyboard to dismiss the keyboard.
If the text buttons in the workspace action bar are too big for your screen,
- touch the
button at the top left of the screen to cycle through the available menu-size options. Do this with the keyboard dismissed.
There are other settings and shortcuts that can be configured.
To get to the preferences screen, touch the overflow button (top right corner)
to bring up the menu; then touch System and Settings to bring up the preferences screen.
See §1.6 for more information on using the keyboard. See §8.2.6 for more information on system settings.
